Many of you might be interested in the new Gary Cooper stamp. This is the 15th stamp in the Legends of Hollywood series. I wish I didn't miss most of the other stamps that they put out. Hopefully I won't miss any more! I need to make sure to stop by the post office as soon as possible to pick up a sheet. I still haven't purchased the Bette Davis one either. I'd better hurry up! Why can't stamps like these be released in Sweden? I think we once had stamps with Swedish film stars, Ingrid Bergman, Greta Garbo and Zarah Leander. But that was in the 1980's, I think. I will have to keep my eyes open for these on Ebay!
ReplyDeleteDo you have anyone in the states that could send you some of the stamps? Ebay I guess would be just as good, but maybe a little more expensive.
ReplyDeleteI collect them, of course, since I'm a sucker where movie memorabilia is concerned and I buy the whole sheet of 20 stamps which is so much nicer. You can always find them for sale on Ebay.
ReplyDeleteI started collecting them with a lot of enthusiasm but after an Edward G. Robinson stamp (love the man but there are at least 30 more worthy) and, worse of all, a Lucille Ball (what does the queen of television have to do with movie legends?) I still collect them but the excitement is gone.
